Welcome! I’m Nicole Legler, a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer based out of Lincoln, Nebraska. I recognized my passion for nutrition and exercise at a young age as a competitive female athlete. Throughout the journey in becoming a Division 1 Collegiate Tennis Player, I became passionate about how nutrition impacted my performance and recovery. I also became extremely aware of the influence our environment has on how we perceive food and the impact of diet culture. With the clear overlap of the two areas, I tailored my education to performance nutrition and behavior change.
I started my career as a Performance Dietitian for the University of Nebraska Athletics Department. After working in collegiate athletics, I started my private practice to work more hands on with athletes and active individuals who are seeking both performance results and nutrition education.
My passion is to coach my clients to optimally fuel their busy lives and support their goals. I believe that recognizing and addressing “why” we eat is necessary to change “how” we eat. By doing so, I focus on the relationships we have with food and how that impacts behavior change. As a result, my clients are able to establish a healthy relationship with food through intuitive eating in conjunction with meeting their goals.
